Safari permits are issued by the Forest Department of Uttarakhand and are subject to their rules and regulations.
Once a safari permit (E-Permit) has been issued, it cannot be cancelled, transferred, modified, or refunded under any circumstances.
Permit fees paid to the Forest Department are non-refundable.
If a visitor wishes to cancel a safari booking:
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Forest Department permit charges, if already processed, are non-refundable.
Any service charges, transaction fees, or processing fees paid during booking are also non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
If a visitor fails to arrive at the designated reporting point on time, it will be treated as a "No Show."
No refund, rescheduling, or compensation will be provided for missed safaris due to late arrival or non-attendance.
Visitors are responsible for providing accurate details during booking.
No refund will be provided if:
Incorrect name is submitted.
Wrong ID details are provided.
Visitor fails to carry the original ID used during booking.
Entry is denied due to mismatch in booking information.
In certain situations, safari operations may be suspended due to:
Heavy rainfall or extreme weather conditions
Natural disasters
Forest fires
Wildlife emergencies
Government orders or restrictions
Decisions taken by the Forest Department
In such cases, refunds (if applicable) shall be governed solely by the policies and decisions of the Forest Department. Jim Corbett Safari Vista shall not be liable for any additional compensation.
Safari bookings are made for the purpose of exploring the forest and wildlife habitat.
Tiger sightings or sightings of any specific wildlife species are not guaranteed.
Absence of wildlife sightings does not qualify for any refund, cancellation, or compensation.
If any refund is approved under exceptional circumstances:
The refund will be processed through the original payment method.
Processing time may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and applicable authorities.
Transaction charges, gateway fees, and administrative charges may be deducted where applicable.
