If you really want to enjoy your night stay in Jim Corbett National Park, then staying at the Dhikala Forest Lodge is an unforgettable experience. Located near Dhangadi Gate, the Dhikala tourist complex can be reached after a scenic jungle drive of around one hour and fifteen minutes.

The Dhikala Forest Rest House is managed by the Forest Department, and advance booking is mandatory. Visitors are generally required to make reservations at least one and a half months before their travel date. Due to its popularity among Indian and foreign tourists, accommodations remain in high demand throughout the season.

Indian visitors should reserve at least 45 days before arrival.

International visitors can book accommodation up to 90 days in advance.

Dhikala Safari Zone remains open for tourists from 15th November to 15th June every year.

Closed Time

Dhikala and other ecotourism zones remain closed during monsoon season from 16th June to 14th November.

How To Reach & Entry Timing

Dhikala Range Entry Information

Visitors can enter Dhikala Range through Dhangarhi Gate located around 18 KM from Ramnagar. Entry timing for the Dhikala Range is from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During monsoon season, ecotourism zones remain closed due to safety concerns and rising water levels in forest streams. From 1st to 15th June, safari operations remain on standby depending on weather conditions.
